May 2008 - together for Mom's 60th
Rachel found this on her hard drive tonight and I couldn't believe she'd never shown it to me or posted it...ooops! I guess she wanted to change a few things but since we moved a couple times last summer she never got around to it. Oh well....here it is anyway :) Enjoy!

1 week old

He was able to come off the lamp today! We are excited and thankful for that. Yesterday Geoff pointed out to me that today James will be one week old. I looked at him like he was crazy but then realized that it has really been a whole week. It has gone by so fast! We are totally in love with this little boy and have been pleasantly surprised with how calm and peaceful he is. We're trying to enjoy it while it lasts!

Press the play button on the left to listen to the music with the photos. Sometimes the photos and audio get slowed down so, toggle through the left and right arrows on the right to just view the photos.
Thanks to everyone for the great week! Lots of fun memories.

Masma memories
I felt I wanted to share some of my Masma memories I wrote in my journal this morning. I would love to hear yours as well:
- frozen, homemade cookies in coffee tins
- delicious, homemade bread/toast in the morning
- there warm, heated floors in their house
- beautiful garden and lawn
- her amazing drive to swim most mornings (if not every morning)
- vague memories of building sand castles with Paspa (so i'm sure Masma was there, too)
- how she spoke french and often watched TV in french
- how she did crossword puzzles
- her amazing memory and detailed childhood stories
- how much she loved Paspa and took care of him when he was sick
I love you Masma. Thanks for the memories, the example, and my great family.
